Controversial Sania and Raj

Sania has made a very controversial decision by deciding not to play in the Bangaluru open where even the Williams sisters are set to play.
But, this decision has been a reaction to the constant torture faced by her from fellow Indians who can't see any other Indian succeed. An environment has been created where all merit is perceived to be foreign and nobody believes that India and Indians can so something great.
Though I was never interested in the girl or her sport, I remember a Sania with a "nath" in her nose. Today, Sania and any other typical European lady cannot be distinguished by the uninitiated. This is because the concept of beauty widely accepted by India today is of European origin.
Sania is just a victim of this "only foreign originated is good".

Coming to the hot topic of North Indians in Mumbai, instead of castigating Raj Thackeray, the leaders of the cow belt should introspect as to why do so many people move out of UP and Bihar and come to Mumbai and live in sub-human conditions. Whoever re-emphasizes that all Indian citizens have a right to settle in Mumbai an earn their living should first ask why any Indian citizen cannot buy and own a house/land in Kashmir or the north-eastern states.

Maybe the leaders of the Marathi Manoos Bal Mitra Mandal should ask themselves a few questions: Will a Marathi Manoos

1. deliver milk at 6:30 in the morning? 365 days a year - be it flooding, freezing or rioting.

2. collect garbage from 6 housing societies at 8:30 in the morning in time to give it to the BMC garbage trucks? Again, 365 days a year

3. be willing to run from door to door selling vegetables so that your typical housewife can buy her stuff conveniently?

4. be ready to stand/walk 8x6 on railway tracks to ensure they are fit to carry trains over them?

5. provide lunch (not the dabbawalla service but actual cooking and delivering) 6 days a week, 2 times a day, if dinner is also called for.

Don't say that *YOU* are ready to do these things. We require a million Marathi manoos to do it. I, for one, need these services and don't mind giving the Uttar Bhartiyas their space and money.

I'm not saying that the north Indians are good only for menial services. My point is they are industrious and willing to do physical labor, if thats what it takes. And finally, they are providing services we ourselves are too lazy to help out with. If these activists resent the north Indian intrusions so much, they should offer competitive services.

How do you think a mega-city survives? Under the gloss, lies the sweat.

1. Stop fucking mixing issues. You have had training as an engineer. Problems are solved by compartmentalizing them into smaller parts, not by sitting and comparing those parts. Fucktard.

2. Mumbai is not just Marathi property. You are just a lucky bastard whose parents live in a place where 200 years ago, the British decided to build their gateway for Indian cotton. Otherwise, you would be riding a motorbike in Pune right now and I would be working at the Doordarshan Kendra in Ratnagiri city. Maharashtra is lucky Mumbai is in Maharashtra.

3. Say, (just say), you get permission to build a house on land you bought in Arunachal Pradesh. And then, 10 years down the line, the army of warrior ants that is the PLA comes sweeping from over Himalayas and also through Burma... then what the fuck?! Who is responsible for you and your family and your property?

The State has enough problems dealing with indigenous personnel and illegal immigrants in those areas - legal citizens are not needed to added to its woes.

not much comments except for i totally agree with bhute on all the points he has raised. Valid Points Bhute. India has had enough of these "I am good, you are bad" kind of people. We want them to spare us of their goodness. We would fend for ourselves thats for sure.
I hope the author of this post does take some positive cues from your comments and introspect on what does he want to stand for. A great country cannot forge ahead on division and inequality. There are enough issues to be tackled head on rather than raising issues which are of no concern at all.
I as a person who is deeply associated with how a industry works am delighted that we have the options of UPs & Biharis hanging around. Otherwise I am sure the might of the unions and the attitude of the "manoos" would have rendered our company/ies ineffective. I am as glad as having them around as the Brit & US are to have us, Pakis & Bangladeshis around in their countries. Someone has to do the sweat work.

ONE WORD FOR YOU BHUTE.

BRILLIANT.
HELPFUL.
UNDERSTANDER.
THOUGHTFUL.
EXCEPTIONAL.

One word for Bhute and Haridas.

BULLSHIT.

and one more.

Pseudointellectuals.

I did not want to write in such language, but you dont have a fu**ing idea of what Bhaiyaas have done to Mumbai.

Who says the opposition is to doodhwallas and who says the opposition is to bhajiwalas.
Understand the fu**ing problem first and then give your fu**ing intellectual and expert views.

To Bhute-

1. deliver milk at 6:30 in the morning? 365 days a year - be it flooding, freezing or rioting.

Ans- Please define the quantity of water- to put it mildly and for reality watch NDTV india for how to make synthetic milk, that Fu**s your body up. and about flooding- forget it. about freezing- forget it. and rioting? arent these fu**ers are the ones who participate in them.

2. collect garbage from 6 housing societies at 8:30 in the morning in time to give it to the BMC garbage trucks? Again, 365 days a year

Ans- Have you fu**ing seen any garbage collector? How much they collect and how much they leave..? Are the roads fu**ing cleaned up in the morning before everyone dirties them again? and you talk of hard work eh? and oh yeah, who shits on them in the morning? is it whom you call "manoos"?
fu** 365 days!

3. be willing to run from door to door selling vegetables so that your typical housewife can buy her stuff conveniently?

Fu** vegetables and if you want the truth of those vegetables, ask the broken windows of Reliance Fresh. Or ask the souls of those dead due to famines in mumbai.

4. be ready to stand/walk 8x6 on railway tracks to ensure they are fit to carry trains over them?

Fu** that, who told you only north Indians do that? are you the Fu**ing contractor recruiting them?

5. provide lunch (not the dabbawalla service but actual cooking and delivering) 6 days a week, 2 times a day, if dinner is also called for.

Fu** them. did you for-Fu**ing-get all those problems you talked to me about due to eating that stuff at your workplace? and did you for-fu**ing-get those gadiwallas on your Milap talkies road?

My point is they are industrious and willing to do physical labor, if thats what it takes. And finally, they are providing services we ourselves are too lazy to help out with. If these activists resent the north Indian intrusions so much, they should offer competitive services.

Ans- Fu** your point. Talk about physical labour? Do you even by fluke know about mills in what you call british built Mumbai? and if you have heard then you must be knowing about millworkrs and as far as my knowledge goes they need to work hard for what people used to wear.
Fu** competition, the North Indians Fu**ing dont give the services upto the mark, just for-fu**ing-get the fu**ing competition.

Ans- If you say so...you are a Fu**ing loser. Learn about our Maharashtra and Mumbai before C, C++ and perl, java and PHP. 105 died for getting Mumbai into Maharashtra and want to ask why they did all this? ask someone who lives in Belgaun! Maharashtra isnt lucky because Mumbai in her, but Maharashtra is damn unlucky because she has produced Fu**ers like you! eat what she produces and Help the fu**ers to Fu** her!

and for your informations Motherfu**ers british may have joined the islands, but Marathi Manoos has shed blood for its developement. I dont deny the participation of others in its developement, but I have strong objection for those who arent giving any tax and just milking her for their benefit and moreover making it uglier by the day!
The objection doesnt include the taxpaying honest NorthIndians, but to those whom you call hard and cheap workers. Fu** them!

and about the Fuc**ing arunachal Pradesh...Fu** the issue as it has least relevance to the topic!

for one, need these services and don't mind giving the Uttar Bhartiyas their space and money.

Ans- Yea, go pay them up and live in the dirty mud that you currently live in, coz those are the people who repair those roads, which get Fu**ed in the rain!

To Haridas-
I as a person who is deeply associated with how a industry works am delighted that we have the options of UPs & Biharis hanging around. Otherwise I am sure the might of the unions and the attitude of the "manoos" would have rendered our company/ies ineffective. I am as glad as having them around as the Brit & US are to have us, Pakis & Bangladeshis around in their countries. Someone has to do the sweat work.

Yeah as a company owner you find Fu**ing cheap workers the best, but I give you a middlefinger salute, when same you people talk about ISO standards weraing suits and ties. I have worked in some place where they employed sweat work as you say! and I have seen the Fu**ing quality! and on that quality work you will always remain Indian company and never an international company! you have problems with unions? why not? you are never interested in giving, you are interested in only earning! Fine union leaders have fu**ed up things big time in past! but hey is that the reason why you go for cheaper quality! if that is the answer then I am speechless! but stop calling that word "Manoos" because you or for that reason no one on the face of this earth has the right to insult the 105 martyrs who have shed blood for Mumbai and for all those who lived in it!
And you talk of bangladeshis and pakistanis and our people working abroad! I know you have been to Uk but I am *WORKING* here! Just visit some industry some time and see how our asians work here and just see how they "Live". just see how many facilities they get from *INDUSTRY* and then Fu**ing compare.

I am always of the view of giving everyone waht they deserve. ask the person who took my interview in CET PI. I told him, only way to progress is decentralisation of developement. But that doesnt mean politicians would fuck up and tax payer would suffer and some pseudo intellectuals would shout for wrong reasons. Sorry! I disagree strongly!
and for the F words' usage...My tribute to Martin Scorsessee!

To Bhim-
Why are you silent! First time in my life I am agreeing with you such coherently! Shout your point! You Fu**ing pay the tax and you have full right to have a clean, safe and hygeinic environment!

Intimidation by invective, derisive replication, argumentum ad hominem. What? Is this the way you carry out debate?

Standard tactic in common with thugs, punks, redheads, skinheads, boneheads. Your parents would be ashamed of you.

Bhise, Bhim, answer just one question - nothing else, just this question - If you drive away all these non-Marathi people, what of the services which I have pointed out?

Lead the Marathis, dudes! Bhim, milk at 6:30.

Bhise, I'm going to be late to office because of this - you are responsible.

I had wrote somewhere not so long ago.
"Just go back to the time when you were burning in hate, the extreme emotions of anger, when anyone coming under your fury would be burnt down to ashes. What were your actions? Were they controlled? How were you speaking? Did the right words come out? What did you manage to do? Did you command the situation? The answer to each of this question is a overwhelming NO."

Did not know that such a situation would arise so quickly and too with someone whom I considered a close friend.

I don't know what was going on in your mind while you were writing whatever you did. I don't feel the need to clarify what I wrote and why, but there is something which I definitely like to tell.

I was born and lived majority of my life in what I call "Mahan" Rashtra. I don't know if people understand the spirit and the culture of this great "Rashtra", and I don't care to say the least. But my heart cries and pains to a great extent when I see it deteriorating by people who are concerned more about their personal needs. This is the land of the great saints like Dyaneshwar, Tukaram, Pundalik & great pilgrimage places like Pandharpur, Shirdi, Shani Signapur, Ganeshpuri. The holy have blessed this land and that is one of the major reasons why this land has prospered like no other.
Maharashtra has prospered and grown to such heights because like the principles of Hinduism, it has always accepted everyone with open arms. It has not seen who were coming, what were they, how were they but like a loving mother showered all her goodwill on the sons who called her mother. Everyone from everywhere came to this doting land. My forefathers & others as well, hearing about the greatness of this land and the prosperity which this land endowed upon its living people, left their homes. With the enterprising spirit they started working in their own ways to carve a living for themselves in some or other way improving a lot of lives (some associated to them, some not).
Thus became MAHARASHTRA, the land of opportunities, the land where any person, of any caste, any creed any race, any color, any language could come & carve a living out of it. If it wanted to discriminate maybe it could have not grown the seeds if a Gujarati Farmer had sowed it. If it wanted to discriminate it would have ensured that the rains destroy the homes of people coming from UP & Bihar. It did not discriminate. It kept giving its goodness for everyone to share.

Somewhere down the line, someone, forgot what really this Mahan Rashtra stands for. It was not that they were not enterprising, it was just that they were indulged in the wrong things. Maharashtra was their land, was their Dronacharya, how could some lame Eklavya come out ahead. His finger had to be cut under any circumstance.

It is indeed very sad that some people draw so many conclusions from just 2 sentences. I would like to ask Bhise a few questions.
"Have you ever visited our company?"
"Do you know how we work and what kind of conditions are there for working & what are we subjecting them to?"
"What do you think Unions really stand for?"

We have more than 15-20 employees out of a strength of 50 who are Marathi Speaking. Some 10-15 from UP-Bihar, another 5-10 from Rajasthan. We don't discriminate them on the basis of their language or any other criteria. We have one parameter for all 12 Hours Working, with Accepted Industry Salary Rate and the Desired Work Quality. If we ask for extra working day it is not that we sit in the luxury of our homes calling the shots. We stand with them, we too are working with them. We have provided them with the best of facilities as far as hygiene is concerned, working conditions is concerned. Its true that we are a Indian Company and I am actually proud to say it. Because with the collective might of everyone indian, we have managed to do some good work for the betterment of this country. Unions are a problem because I have seen closely how they operate. They are only concerned in raising conflicts on issues where they feel they can get a big bite. Even though we don't have union in our company we have ensured that no person should be deprived of any necessity.
Our belief is
1. Country
2. Society
3. Organisation
4. Family
5. Self
We have not earned large amounts of money and if we did we have not kept for ourselves. We have shared it. We have looked how it could change the life of a person who is willing and needy irrespective of whether he is marathi or bihari. We have loaned huge amounts of money without ever asking for security and letting them pay at their convenience. I referred to the word "manoos" because the people who are using it these days hardly understand who those real "manoos" are and what did they stand for.
Like you rightly said 'give everyone what they deserve.'
Look around you. How many industries are run by Marathi people? How much % is the contribution in overall? The fact of the matter is, great nations, great societies & great communities are built not by marginalizing people but by strengthening the collective will of all involved. You cannot tag one entire section as poor quality givers. It could like me tagging entire Marathi speaking as liquor drinking gamblers least interested in working. This country needs the collective might of every individual in order to succeed and we have to ensure that swaying in the wrong direction we don't miss our objectives. The success of our people is not because of the Government who is creating such hullabaloo but in spite of the Government.

I had learnt one saying in school, which comes to my mind every now and then.

"United We Stand, Divided We Fall"

I think we need to go to school again, we are forgetting the basic lessons.

Dear Bhise, While speaking about North Indians in Mumbai , I think you have forgotten that they are Indians first. Like you they have an equal right to stay in any part of India and Mumbai is no exception..I will ask a simple question . Let us take just your case , you are there in Milan , far from Mumbai which you call its yours . Tell me how would you feel if you get the same treatment from people of Milan which you want for North Indians in Mumbai ??

Rohit Bhute said...

Mumbai is not just for Marathis - the British made it clear that Mumbai will be a city of national (even regional) importance. It is a national resource. As Maharashtrians, we are privileged to be given the responsibility of this city.

And my efforts as a programmer are as much a contribution to Marathi Asmita as the lives of those 105 martyrs. Or of those punks waving the flags of reginalism. There is no need for liberal usage of invective. You are educated and brought up better than that.

The whole world cannot be heroes.

Laughing out loud!
LOLZZZZZZZZZZZ!
I never thought My Martin Scorsesse act would create such a huge stir. Thanks again man!
After reading all the valuable thoughts above I have come to conclusion with two things.
1. None of you have seen "The Departed"
and 2. No one of you has taken the pain to read my comment fully!

First thing first, My language was taken straight from Martin Scorsesse's masterpiece, "The Departed".
I have never used so many F words before this, counting all from my childhood. and for your information I am "Manoos" and thus learnt the word F*** after my 10th grade.

I did this because lot many times before, I have tried to argue in polite words and none of them worked. But this time I have proved a point that this insulting language does work, let it be positive effect or negative.

SEcond, none of you took the pain to read it full, whatever may be the reason. Didnt you read the last part, where I say whom I oppose?

and @Haridas,

Loving everyone and accepting everyone with open arms, is poetically amazing, and knowing you as a Poet, I know you have a soft heart, but hey, dont we live in a cruel, practical world, where basic hygiene and health is a basic necessity alongwith complete utilisation of the income tax that we pay?
I mean be practical man! Did I ever say I hate North Indians, I wrote it clearly, I oppose those who are uglying my mother Mumbai!

And dude, about your factory and all! Why you took it personally? Did I ever say Indian Transformer Company?
I meant those companies which I know and have seen the work culture!
I dont know about your company and dont want to inspect!
I would any day take your word for it!

@ alok
Read the post carefully! Your comment is not valid after you understand what I have written!
and about your question!
Yes I do get treated like a foreigner, and well about comparison of Those north Indians you talk about, comparing with me!

I am *Called* by this company here to work for them. I did not *Want* to come here in first place.

I am not here to settle down and last thing I want is that they would accept me as one of them.
I do not even expect.

and last but not the least! I live here like they do and do not involve in any practice that would be a problem for this place.

@Bhute
I was immensely hurt by your statements like Maharashtra is lucky....
but I am shattered when you say not everyone is hero.
Yes dude, you are right!
Everything gets a fullstop when you say your work equals those of the martyrs.
The sould would be blessed hearing this coming out of your mind.
I thank you on behalf of them.
You know something bhute. When I was a child, I had a subject called geography and in 2nd standard I had geography of Mumbai. We had pictures of Rajabai Tower and Hutatma Chowk a.k.a. Flora fountain.
I never knew what to call the place. But my father used to call it Hutatma chowk.
It made no difference and I started to call it hutatma chowk just by influence.
Because all it meant for me was a fountain. with some statue. But when I heard the story behind this name. and after this When I first time visited it. I am telling you the truth, I cried.
My heart still aches for them. What did they do worng to die. Does your perfectly ideal ideology has no value for a human life?
Bhute, I dont know whether I have been brought up good or bad! but I know one thing that I owe you much. I can never forget how big a messiah you were for me, in my days of turmoil. But hey dude, The language I used showed my sensitivities and your polished language showed your insensitivities towards human life and your own people.

You talk of loving your countrymen and all, then why did Morarji desai gave the orders to kill his own countrymen.
I know you would say why you want to be like him? I dont want to be like him!
I want to be reasonable.

And all of all dudes.
I repeat my language was a straight lift off the film and It got the impact that it meant for. If anyone is so *Sensitive* to be hurt by it, then I cant help.

Finally Dont take it personally, I too didnt I just cleared it for all my co-thinkers(I dont get a better word).
Let me clear one thing..I hate Raj thackeray for every reason you can think off and I dont support his act of beating up people.
But I do support the doctrine that says it is necessary to clear and clean up mumbai and This is both ecologically and economically true.

And I could not resist adding the last sentence.

I am hurt beyond par.

But my fight will continue.

Varun Rajkumar said...

Well , I had actually seen an internet attachment that mentioned that the word "Fuck" is the only word in the English Language that can be used as a noun, verb, adjective and almost every part of speech.

Bhise just gave a fantastic Illustration. ;-)

Firstly, doing full justice to the Sania Mirza part:
She has just given a very poor excuse not to play at home. Ask any tennis player , say Britan's Andy Murray on how it feels to play at Wimbledon, ask Leyton Hewwit on how it feels to play at the Rod Laver Arena, or the hell ask a kid from my building on how it feels to play in my building compound - thats the best place to play on earth. I never really was a Sania Mirza fan, but she's pretty much lost my respect, if she's pulled out of the tournament because of the controversies.

Good players make excuses. Great Players live for such moments.

On the Second part, Raj Thackeray has played a very stupid card at the wrong time. The Sena lost the general elections, thanks to the "Mee- Mumbaikar" campaign. As my project leader puts it, "People are smart, if they learn from other people's mistakes". Raj , apparently doesn't seem to be smart enough.

I do agree that migration into Mumbai is taking a heavy toll on Mumbai's infrastructure. But there are many other ways to curb it. For one, the best way would be demolishing slums, which would mean no houses for the migrants and hence making life in Mumbai very expensive for such people, hereby discouraging them.

Mumbai doesn't belong to the Maharashtrians. Mumbai belongs to India. As far as the milk at 5.00 and the Marathi Manoos things are concerned, we are simply referring to stereotypes and I don't think they are valid arguments here. Necessity is the mother of all inventions, and any person can get up at 5 or 6 AM, if its for his PKP!! (Pet ka pooja !!)

BHIM : This is actually a very good topic, and let me see how you get your points across here. Will be a nice warm up for your MDI call. Believe me, my GD was very much like this !! And yes, No pic, dissapoints me !

The human mind and societies have to be open for ideas and change. Intelligent, resourceful and enterprising people will only stand to benefit Maharashtra. Only thing is that the existing residents should create an environment where they feel that Maharashtra is their second home.

I opposed to those people who celebrate "UP sthap[ana divas" without knowing where and what is Hutatma Chowk or knowing what is May 1 except that its a holiday.

The point which I wanted to bring to forefront by asking How would you feel ? was that R Thakery has tried to address the issue by violent means is not acceptable to anybody. From your last post motive of my was served when you agreed. And I think all rational people will agree with the same, but by that it does not mean I hate Raj Thakery , I only dislike his present act.

Yes I agree that original Inhabitant (Marathi Manoos) have the first right to stay in Mumbai. Today if we say Mumbai is cosmopolitan its only because Marathi manoos has wished it to be so. I have the highest respect for the Marathi manoos and so should every north Indian have and the vice-versa..

The issue raised by Raj Thakery is really important to address but in a proper way without an intention of taking political benefits out of it which is the sole aim of all political goons (leaders). Its a fact that Mumbai (Commercial Capital of India) has been over crowded and the process does not seem to end. Its also true that the the burden of underdevelopment of some states is taking a huge toll of Mumbai. So I feel its not some regional issue but is a issue of national concern .But its not something for which a taxi driver who is earning his living in Mumbai and is serving Mumbai some way or the other shall be punished and suppressed.
In fact its for our leaders to take this issue not at the streets of Mumbai by making some fiery speeches and also common people like you to discourage such elements who think political gains out of it so that in future they dont raise such important issues in the same ugly way .
Need of the hour is that the issue needs a very wise thought involving ALL followed by action , so that we are not only able to diagnose the disease but to cure it.

One word for Bhsie As like you no one likes to be away form home , be it you , bihari , kashmiri or someone from UP

Friends..here is what I have to say..This debate is a valid one...
People from other parts of the country are coming to Mumbai bcos of lack of opportunities in their states..I am here in US currently and Ameya has been to Italy...
whatever reason you give, we all know its money and we all want to make our lives better..
We all knew that Namibia cannot win the world cup but they came and played..Similrly everbody wants to play at the highest level..try their luck and see if they have it in them..
Coming to the people who have initiated this debate..
1.Mr.Amitabh Bachhan: I lost all the respect for this guy when i found out that he is so full of blind beliefs(pre marriage poojas for "Manglik" Aish). When he shouted that UP main jurm kam hai..that shown that he can lie for hos friend amar singh..
2. Mr.Raj Thackeray:
This guy says a lot but does nothing. He wants power and votes in whichever way he can. Creating discrimination in a society is easy but to maintain unity is very tuff.

I call myself Maharashtrian and I love Maharashtra and Mumbai...But I love India more than any state and any religion..
Yes, i agree that Mumbai is getting crowded and Marathi people are suffering..What we must try to do is create opportunities in other states..Let people live there and achieve their dreams..
Mumbai first comes in India and then in Maharashtra...We cant syop others coming in but we can create awareness..
What is very heart breaking to see is that we are the future, we are the youth of the country and we use foul languages to resolve a problem..
We have to move ahead, we have to think of ways to solve the problem and dont match the voices of selfish people..
I am in US and there are many who come outside India to earn in dollars and euros..We are crowding other countries not even our own country,,,Shouldn't we be thrown out of here??
Work is Work...Whether you work as a sweeper or you work as a Manager...you are working for yourself first and then u pay taxes for your country..My dad and mom have always made me realise that we have to be ready to do any work..Never treat any work as ugly or dirty..
Folks, if u read it, please try to find a solution to problems rather than skiping the problem yelling and shouting..
Always remember the key words of Shri Sai Baba "Sabka Malik Ek!"
and also "Shraddha and Saburi"
Have faith that there is a solution and have patience instead of rushing to conclusions..
For me all of you are friends...I want all of us to give something back to the society..
We are the future and not these guys who are splitting the society for their good..
Bye friends..Miss you all!!

@Bhupi : Yes, I agree. The Solution is the Key.Firstly, we need to identify slums that have come into existence before say 2000 and then rehabilitate them.

Any further slums, need to be discouraged and demolished. This has been implemented to a certain level in Mulund(clearing off a major slum in the Mulund W area).

Yes, Development in other states is also essential and is a long term solution. But that is something, Maharashtra Hardly as any control over. As it is, in any country there are bound to be more successful states and the not so successful ones.

And, Finally, Politicians, using the caste card need to be put behind bars.

@Bhim: You have hagofied. Summarise karne ka ek Mauka hai tujhe ab ;-)
